OUR HISTORY

William Perry Gray (1821-1900): was born at Covington, New York on May 24,1821. He was one of the twelve primary organizers of Jefferson Township. He served as Justice of the Peace there and held several other public offices.
 
All branches of Irving Park Elementary (Grayland, Dunning, Norwegian Home, and Belmont) were made into the independent school Grayland on May 18, 1910.  On July 12, 1911 the new Gray School replaced the structure that was Grayland School.
